At Auburn Girls High School we debate in NSW state school competitions across all year groups. From Year 7, students have the opportunity to try out for the debate team. Students in the team compete against other schools in the region in a quest to become regional champions. Although we have not achieved this title yet, we are getting closer, with our Year 10 team of 2015 making the Regional Semi Finals. Students also have the opportunity to trial for the Regional debate team. We have had one successful students achieve this in the past two years and we plan to have more.
If students do not make the final team, there are opportunities throughout the year for all students to attend workshops and training sessions.
Debating is growing at Auburn Girls High School. Become part of another Auburn Girls success story.
